1. Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Remote Desktop Connection

2. Alternatively you can start the program using Start > Run then typing mstsc.exe

3. When the connection window opens, make sure to click 'Options' to see the detailed options for which you will need to fill out.

4. Computer: Enter in your VPS IP address.

5. User name : Enter your username

6. Untick the box next to Always ask for credentials

7. Click the edit button above Always ask for credentials

8. Enter your password and click OK

9. Once you have the options filled out under the [General] tab, you can choose to save this Remote Desktop Connection for later use by clicking on [Save As…], and saving the connection file on your local PC.
