First of all make sure you have the correct settings for the common tab as detailed in the MIDAS user manual. 

If you would like to ensure your MIDAS robot is active, look for the smiley face next to the word
MIDAS in the top right of the chart

If there is an 'X' next to MIDAS then MIDAS is switched off.

To turn it on, click on the expert advisor button at the top of the MetaTrader programme,

this button is red indicating Expert Advisors are switched off.

Make sure the Expert Advisors button is green
